Forti’s Grill & Bar

It was great to say hello to our old friend Forti in his new exquisite fine dining Grill & Bar where we were welcomed with his traditional Apperol cocktails.

The much loved and gregarious chef Fortunato Mazzone, has opened his new Forti Grill & Bar at Sun International’s newest casino, Time Square in Menlyn Main, Pretoria.

While it was sad to say goodbye to his former home Ritrovo, which was a landmark for fine Italian fare, it is great to experience Forti’s new gastronomic creation above the casino. From a beautiful interior, exceptional art and bespoke furniture, the food is beyond superior quality which is then complimented by the excellent service and ambience.

Forti has managed to create a modern, hip and cool vibe that makes you feel as if you are having a dining sensation in any of the big modern cities around the world. Pasta freshly made to order results in the best tasting dishes prepared to perfection with sides to die for. The open kitchen is similar to a reality show, with an extensive display of Le Creuset and a view to the busy preparation by the 5-star chefs.

C & G enjoyed a wonderful evening and it was a truly unique and memorable experience on the fine dining scene.

This is a must do for foodies wishing to experience a whole new brand of Forti!
